A self-hosted AI system that remembers, works in the background, and runs on hardware I own. What it does, and the design decisions behind it. I was in the first year of an MBA, trying to manage a firehose of information while applying to internships and keeping up with my wife and two kids, and I kept re-explaining my whole situation to whatever AI program I was using that week. I built this website to share the structure for anyone looking to do something similar.

One button connects a user's inference budget to your app, metered, capped, and revocable. The problem AI costs are the one line item you can't predict. Every AI app makes the same uncomfortable bet: price high enough to survive your power users, ration usage so nobody hurts you, or quietly lose money on the heavy ones.
