Interactive one-dimensional cellular automaton simulator: any number of states, totalistic, template (local) and descendant rules, space-time diagrams, batch rule search with automated analyses (classification, fields, gliders, chaos, lines) and tagging. Below is a legend showing which pattern corresponds to which color. Renders the current rule off-screen at a chosen size and gives you a ready PNG to download. The PNG is encoded directly (no canvas), so it is not bound by the browser's canvas size limit, very large fields, e.g.
