The truly always free note taker including AI assistant. Use the full Mac editor, write in any desktop browser, or capture and edit from your phone. The Mac app imports your notebooks and turns them into ordinary Markdown. Your notes are plain files in a private repo you control. Claude Code and anything else that speaks MCP can search your notes and write back to them. Every save is a commit in your own repo - add a collaborator and you both write to it.
