Dreaming of owning a start-up? It’s a tempting idea when there are no limits to success, and no requirements when it comes to becoming an entrepreneur. There is however, hard work, resource and of course, investment to think about!
The thought of being your own boss is obviously a popular one. Lending company Start Up Loans has recently revealed that a total of £62,861,292 was lent across the UK for start-ups last year, and a new interactive from the company gives a detailed breakdown of how this was spent.
Based on official data, the government lending scheme also shares figures for how much was spent in the tech world. In total, £1,360,600 went to the information and communication sector alone last year, and the South East was a stand out region for investment. The region received a total of £117,100 just for computer programming and consultancy.
In a world where we have access to all types of consumers online, it could be the best time for your company to flourish. All you need is a great concept and a plan for the finance required to grow.
