Spam emails are some of the most annoying things that people have to deal with on the web.
You want your inbox to be full of relevant things so that you can find your way to what you need without having to go through a sea of spam emails.
Spam emails are major distractions from our work and nobody likes them. What most people don’t know about spam emails though is that under that casual looking email, spam emails are some of the most dangerous tactical weapons on the internet.
Spam emails are mail that is sent to you normally in bulk. They have nothing to do with you and they are designed to have interesting headlines that get you to click on them.
The purpose of spam emails is to ask you to sign up for a service or download a file most of the time. What most people don’t know is that spam emails are some of the most dangerous things on the web because of their terrifying potential to completely infect people’s devices with malware, and spyware.
Whenever you spot a spam email on your primary email tab, make sure that you label it spam. The opposite goes for whenever you find a safe email on your primary tab. Let your spam filter know that the email is completely safe.
What will happen is the spam filter will eventually get a strong idea for what you specifically find to be spam and what is not spam. The spam filter will literally be custom tailored to your email box specifically so that most of the spam always gets filtered out.
Also, when you report something as spam, the email servers generally know that the email address is spam, so they will prevent the email from getting into other people’s spam folders. Essentially you pretty much just help everyone else out by telling the email that it is spam.
If you reply to spam emails, they will know that your email is active, and they will target you. If you want to protect your mail from spams, make sure that you never click the reply button and avoid the email over all.
Having two separate emails will keep your primary inbox clean and the secondary “spam” inbox full of spam. You won’t have to deal with spam anymore because now all the spam gets sent to an email that you never even use. This is an excellent way to protect your mail from spam.
Avoid using your main email when you don’t have to. Send the email to your secondary email and make sure that you never publish your email on the web. Bots will pick up on this and send you mountains of spam.
By installing anti-spam filters and virus protection, you gear your device up for all possible email attacks. The spam filters will keep spam out and in the event that one gets through and you get infected, the virus protection will keep your system safe. Virus protection is a must have so we highly recommend that you install it. We personally recommend Avira Antivirus for virus protection but other software will work well too.
There is no reason to even be worried about spam. If you follow all the 5 tips that we showed you above, your spam inbox will be full, and your primary inbox will be completely clean.
