In the last few years, we have witnessed a lot of developments in the technological field. We are further seeing the impacts of new technology in a lot of areas be it communications, retail, aviation, IT amongst others. However, the noticeable impacts that we are observing is in the educator sector. While we have been debating over the urgent need for rewiring India’s education system, it looks like technology is finally bringing new changes in this sector. Besides, many in India are already leaning more on technology to deliver better learning experiences and also to redesign content.

Today we are seeing more of e-books, digitally-enabled classrooms, online assessments, and even cloud-based content. Such technologies are practically changing the system and it looks like we have come a long way compared to the traditional method of learning through books. In addition, edtech companies in India are on the rise and they are developing a lot of solutions for students in order to boost their learning capabilities. As such, students today can easily access solutions like NCERT science class 9 and others in an instant through their smartphones, PCs or tablets. Having said that, let’s look at some of the top tech trends affecting the Indian education sector below.

Apps and Smartphones

Smartphones have become an integral part of our lives. Thus, many institution and edtech companies are capitalizing on using these devices to impart knowledge and information. With the help of internet and newly developed education apps, learning materials are readily available. You can say that educational content can be accessed at the click of the button to be more precise. To give you an example, if you are looking for, let’s say Class 11 chemistry ncert solutions, then you can open these education apps in your phone and get the solutions instantly.

Implementation of Virtual and Augmented Reality for Immersive Learning

2018 has been the year where we are witnessing continued momentum and refinement for virtual and augmented reality technologies. The use of VR and AR technology is becoming more prominent and we can say that this technology is helping students learn in a more immersive manner. Though the technology is limited to few Indian institutes we believe these technologies will play a vital role in delivering high-fidelity educational experiences. Besides, subjects like science is becoming more fun and interactive with the help of these technologies.
