Since the advent of technology, there have been many innovations that have simplified lots of things for humans. Mobile phones are one of the most groundbreaking inventions of this century as they are slowly taking over desktops. So, businesses need to provide a seamless and engaging experience for mobile users so that they get a competitive advantage over other companies. A great mobile app can help your business grow in many ways. It can increase your revenue by improving your sales, build up engagement, and increase your brand awareness. However, creating an app is not an easy task, and if you are someone trying to learn how to create an app for your business, you have come to the right place.

  • 1 Define Your Objectives and Basic Functionality
  • 2 Wireframing Your App
  • 3 Building, Testing and Launching the App

Define Your Objectives and Basic Functionality

Before you begin with actually creating a mobile app, you need to define why you want to create an app and what functions it should perform. Without having a clear idea about these two things, your whole planning will be convoluted, which will show in your app. Every business app should be able to address two things; the goals of users and the goals of your business. On top of that, you should also know what you want to achieve from an app. An app can provide different features such as chat options, push notifications, social sharing, contact us forms, eCommerce integrations, etc.

Wireframing Your App

Now that you have an idea of the objectives and functionalities of the app, you should start putting the puzzle together with wireframing. Wireframing is a bridge that connects raw thoughts with the final product. It leads any app project from planning to execution by representing a visual guide that helps arrange different elements of an app to achieve a purpose. Experts at Adobe describe it as “ helping to establish relationships between individual pages and serve as a foundation for prototypes.”Wireframes can be created offline by using a simple pen and paper, or they can also be used online with the help of templates by Adobe Suite, etc.

Building, Testing and Launching the App

As you are done with the planning, it’s time to start creating your app. You can either code your app from scratch or create it using mobile building app platforms. It’s easier to use apps platforms, but you won’t be able to develop a personalized app with special functions with it if that is your aim. Once you are done creating the app, you should roll it out to bug testers so that they can ensure that the app is bug-free before it goes live. Testing can be divided into two phases. At first, you can do internal testing by people who were part of the team that worked on the app so that they can test its features in a better way. Other than that, you can also do external testing, which involves a group of people who were not initially familiar with your app so that they can point out any faults in user experience. When the testing phase ends, you can submit your app to the selected app stores and drive a promotion campaign so that users know that the app is live. Check out https://buddy.works
