Did you know that Google Pixel 4A is available for preorder now? Well, according to an official blog post on the Google France website and which has since been edited, Google Pixel 5 will also be available to preorder starting October 8. The posted also mentioned that Pixel 4A 5G will be available to preorder the same day. And for the given reasons, many people could find the phone as easy to buy as playing poker online free in an online casino. However, the part of the article mentioning Google Pixel 5 has since been removed from the blog post, and we can only speculate that the device will perhaps come a bit later than that.
The News Leak
This information came to light after a reader alerted 9to5Google of the post. The blog then went ahead to take a screenshot of the announcement and even published an article on the same. According to 9to5Google, the company would not comment on the accuracy of the revealed dates. However, even without official confirmation of the details, we can assess that the phone will not have to be delayed like the predecessor.
It is expected that the device will perhaps be unveiled in Google’s October hardware event, where the company will likely launch its new Android TV dongle.
What to Expect from Google Pixel 5?
Google has already made Pixel 4A available for preorder, and it is a good phone, it seems. However, with the market for high-end phones growing each day, here are some of the features Pixel 5 will probably bring along:
- IP68 water-resistant rating
- Wireless charging
- 6GB RAM and at least 128GB internal storage
- Dual lens main camera
- At least 4000mAh battery (Not assured)
- Android 11
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G
- 5G support.
Naturally, we expect Google to build on the Pixel legacy by bringing something better than the previous gadgets. For this, people will be looking at all features once the device is officially announced, and Google better not play games.
Even though Pixel 4 and 4A have good cameras, pundits were initially expecting the tech giant to use three cameras on a new model. However, rumour has it that we will only see two cameras. Furthermore, an ultra-wide telephoto camera will be highly welcome to a large fan base.
Expected Price
Smartphone prices have been increasing gradually over the years, and it will not be a surprise to see Google selling the Pixel 5 anywhere between $649 and $800. Note that we are making this price suggestion with the knowledge that a recent survey looks into whether people would buy a Pixel phone at $699.
Even though we cannot ascertain the survey’s findings, you can rest assured that if the manufacturer adds all the expected features on the flagship phone, they will be justified to sell within the estimated price range.
Note that Google has not confirmed any of the details discussed in this article, and things are likely to change. The uncertainties caused by Coronavirus may see the preorders delayed as it happened with Pixel 4A.
