With so much growing audience, the developer of Fortnite thought to make things more interesting and on Thursday, came out the news that battle royale is about to get a major overhaul. According to Williamson the changes are going to be made in the overall quality of life improvements that won’t be much noticeable for the players but it will somehow affect the visuals of the game and make them better. The game will now be focusing on the detailing and it will allow you to see clearly what’s around you. Again, this change is not going to be very noticeable and many players might not even feel like anything has changed but this update is surely going to improve the players performance and take it to a whole another level. This update will also help in providing more memory to the console versions of the game. You can say that this is going to be more of a cosmetic and gameplay improvement.
Another change that the players are going to see in Fortnite is the addition of two new cities of sorts. This update has been made for the sole purpose of improving the map because Williamson felt like there was something missing while they shipped the map. Also, the team mentioned that the addition of another city to the map was one of the biggest requests of the players and this is the reason why they updated the game to make it more fun, more interesting and more catchy.
There has been another update in the game and that is the addition of an area that is called the Shifty Shafts which is located near the west of the Greasy Grove. This added area basically adds a more tight corridor to the play.
Lastly, the overhaul we were talking about earlier was breaking of the map into four different biomes. Before the update came out the biomes was all made up of grass but now it has been broken down into four parts, grass, mountains, farmland and swamp biomes. This way you will be able to identify the place where you are and it can make the game much fun to play.
