Step 1 –
On visiting your nearest CBI branch, you need to collect the Application form for the Net Banking, or else you can visit CBI Official website https://www.centralbank.net.in/jsp/Register.htm for the same.
Step 2 –
You have to fill the form with accurate details and submit it in your native branch where your account is held.
Step 3 –
The Bank will then start the activation process of Net Banking services.
Step 4 –
After the process is complete the Login Password and transaction password, for the Net Banking account are sent to the address registered in the Application, separately.
Step 5 –
On receiving both the passwords, the user needs to give a visit to the native branch where he will be given the User ID.
Step 6 –
Now the customer has a User ID, Login Password and the transaction Password. Using these he can activate Net Banking on his account.

Step 1-
Visit the CBI official portal.
Step 2-
Enter the credential in the input fields, either by hardware keyboard or by Virtual keyboard given on the website.

After you have successfully earned the CBI Net Banking services, to transfer funds, you need to add the recipient as a beneficiary first, then only you can do so. So to add someone as beneficiary follow these steps –
- Log in into your CBI Net Banking Account.
- Find ‘Funds Transfer’ option and tap on ‘Add beneficiary’.
- Select an option from ‘other bank’ or ‘CBI’.
- Enter either the branch name or IFSC code.
- Fill the other necessary details thoroughly, and click Submit
- After completion of this process, three grid values are entered. If the authentication is successful, you are done with adding a beneficiary.
