If there are any two gadgets which can be brought into argument, the two modern ones must be a tablet and a smartphone. Over time, smartphones have occupied a major part of our life, be it regarding work, communication, or just for the purpose of entertainment – there’s no way we can cut it off from our lifestyle. However, with the recent existence of tablets, many have come to the conclusion that having a tablet ends the hassle of having a smartphone. But is it really so?
Most of the time we get too much swayed by the idea of new technology. Even most shops and online agencies who used to give laptops on rent in Delhi have now introduced a range of tablets. You can find many shops giving tablets on rent in Delhi. But will it really be worth the investment?
Find out – Can a Tablet use as a replacement for smartphone?
While enjoying entertainment
When using a tablet to listen to music or podcasts, or watch a video, the tablet is the ideal one for you. If you are using a phone, your entertainment might be interrupted by the incoming calls and messages. Whereas, if you have an extra tablet, you can use it separately for entertainment purposes. Moreover, tablets tend to have a better sound system and better display quality than the usual smartphones. So, even when you are at home, you can tune in to some podcasts or music without any need of speaker. If you are looking for something for entertainment purposes, then choose a tablet.
Calling up
Tablets tend to be usually wider in size than the size of the smartphones. So, it may be a problem to hold the tablet in the grip while calling. Moreover, communication is something that needs to be done every time. But carrying a tablet wherever you go, is a real fuss as it occupies much more space than a mobile phone would occupy. So, for calling, a smartphone would be ideally perfect.
Working with the keyboard
Most of us use smartphones and tablets for work purposes and while doing so, the keyboard plays a major role. We often choose to shift for a tablet from a laptop or smartphone to work flexibly. But it hardly helps because using a wide keyboard especially in the iPads, makes typing with one hand very tough. Moreover, the keyboard sensors are quite prompt which may lead to easy typing errors.
Sending a message
Typing messages in tablets is one of the biggest problems ever. Moving your finger to type an alphabet and then, dragging it to the other end, is a great fuss and even time consuming too. So, if you are someone who loves to chat and send text messages, then there cannot be any better option than a smartphone because it comes in smaller display size and keyboard size than the tablets.
So, if you want to use a tablet as a replacement for your smartphone, then you are probably choosing the wrong path because neither a tablet nor a smartphone, is fully capable of replacing each other due to the above-mentioned characteristics.
